If you have a minute please hop over and check out my husband's blog... he loves to write music and book reviews and he's very good at it. He just doesn't have time to promote his blog.... so sadly.... I'm his only reader. I would do EC for him but I have a hard time getting all my drops in before midnight hits... so I dunno how in the world I would do 600.... and since he works 10+ hours a day (not a desk job) and has very lil computer time there is no way he could do 300 drops a day.
So anyway.... check out his blog if you have the time.... Music and book reviews and random rambling

i have checked your husbands site out and have followed him. i know he isn't on entrecard, he could have a graphic link for his blog and you could put it in your sidebar. that could get him some traffic. if you need a graphic, i could make one for you. just an idea.
Did you try to submit his blog to search engines and create keywords and meta tags ? Also try to submit to as many high PR blog directories . Also try to verify his blog in Google Webmaster tools---at least his blog would be searchable in SE's.
Try also promoting it at Adgitize and CMF Ads for this time and stop advertising if you feel like he has a following of readers or better, make it monthly. Adgitize is only at $14.00 while CMF ads can be bought for as much as you like starting from $10.00 and at the end of the cycle, you get back your $10 .00 worth of credits to advertise again.
You could also put a badge on your sidebar. Entrecard is not the only source of "advertising " for blogs---you could list his blog in BlogCatalog , MyBlogLog, and Pijoo.
